The Secret Power of "Baruch HaShem"
"I will speak about Your wonders; and they will speak about Your awesome acts of power." (Tehilim 145)
When a king is good, he inspires his people to follow his ways. In this light, just as King David praises and "speaks about the wonders of HaShem," so too, his people recognize and recount the mighty acts of HaShem in defeating the enemies of Israel. In addition, King David's spirituality and nobility influenced the people of his nation to act with personal integrity.
Lesson: The greatest way to influence and inspire others is through the personal example of our leaders and our parents. The more the leaders express the goodness and compassion of HaShem, the more the People of Israel will praise HaShem and be motivated to act with goodness and compassion.
App: Praise HaShem for the kindnesses that He does for you and Klal Yisrael. Express to your family and friends your thankfulness for HaShem's kindness and goodness. Inspire them to also be aware of HaShem and to praise HaShem, as well as, to act with goodness and integrity.
