SF - This is Also Good

This Is Also Good

Nachum Ish Gam Zu was a holy Sage, who had a remarkably positive life perspective. Whenever something ostensively "bad" happened to him, he always said, "This is also for the good." He knew that since HaShem is absolutely good, anything that HaShem does must be good. Nachum Ish Gan Zu had steadfast faith that everything that occurred to him was rooted in pure goodness. By meeting hardship with the declaration of faith, "This is also for the good," he transformed the seemingly negative event into a great goodness.

Lesson: By expressing our steadfast trust in HaShem, we literally connect the "bad" to its good source, and transform adversity to goodness, blessing, and deliverance.

App: Greet difficulties with trust in HaShem's goodness and say, "This is also for the good" -- and transform the difficulty to the pure goodness of HaShem.
