The Fruits of Friendship "A man of friendship is to be praised, and there is a friend that is better than a brother" (Mishlei 18:24). A person who has many friends will be blessed with esteem and eminence. The many good relationships that he enjoys fills his heart with confidence so that he is not intimidated by others. Besides the honor that a person receives by having many good friends, it is likely that amongst his companions he will find an exceptional and trustworthy confidant. This friend will grant him benefits that might be superior to even that which he receives "from him own brother." Lesson: Developing friendships, and committing yourself to be a loyal and dependable friend, is a worthy endeavor that yields many valuable fruits. App: Focus on enriching your relationships, cherishing your family members and friends -- and enjoy the many amazing benefits of friendship.
