The Power of Repentance
Yechezkal the Prophet, revealed that HaShem took an oath verifying that He accepts our repentance and grants us unbounded forgiveness. HaShem did not take an oath regarding any other Mitzvah. The concept that HaShem accepts our repentance and forgives us is counterintuitive. Therefore, HaShem takes an oath to assure us that when we perform repentance, HaShem forgives us and erases every trace of the misdeed. What's more, when we repent from love, HaShem even converts our misdeeds into merits.
Lesson: HaShem's absolute kindness and infinite mercy regarding repentance is counterintuitive! Therefore, HaShem swears that He graciously accepts our repentance and grants total forgiveness.
App: Imagine HaShem appears to you in a dream, and tells you, "I swear that I fully accept your repentance and fully forgive all of your misdeeds." Be totally encouraged that HaShem accepts your repentance, and all your darkness converts to light. For "nothing can stand in the way of repentance."
