The Joy of the Creator
"He makes heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them" (Tehillim 146:6). The verse is in the present tense, "He makes heaven and earth," because HaShem continuously renews the creation of the universe each and every day. A tzadik puts his full trust in HaShem because he clearly recognizes the Living Creator. His is aware that HaShem actively creates the world every second and oversees the ongoing existence of all of His creations.
Lesson: Just as HaShem, in His great power and kindness, makes heaven and earth, so too, HaShem absolutely protects those people who trust in the Living G-d.
App: Reflect on the wonder that HaShem continuously creates anew heaven, earth, and all of the creations. Reflect on the wondrous goodness of HaShem, Who continuously breathes a living soul within you. He oversees and bestows good to the entire universe. Trust in Him and His awesome kindness and place yourself beneath the "wings of His protection." (Based on the commentary of RaMad Valli to Tehillim) to view the Salant Mussar Library Collection |
