The Joy of Goodness \ The Proverbs of Solomon
D'var Torah: "So that you may walk in the way of good people and keep the paths of the righteous" (Mishlei 2:20). King Solomon inspires us to act with pure and constant goodness towards everyone. (This does not apply to people who are untrustworthy or unsafe.) It is appropriate to be consistently compassionate and caring, without ever being indifferent. Be good to all people, at all times. Even in situations where you were wronged, do not demand justice. It is better not to cause hurt so that only good emanates from you. Moral: Sweeten your life -- and the lives of your family and friends -- by shining your goodness on every person and in every situation. Application: Say aloud and internalize the verse, "HaShem is good to all and His mercy is on all of His creations." Reflect on the goodness of the Creator, Who grants us uninterrupted life and all its fullness. Emulate HaShem by flowing with goodness, care, and mercy for your family, friends, and all of HaShem's creations. (Based on the commentary of the Ohr HaChaim) - Excellent opportunity.
