Strengthen Your Muscles of Yirat Shemayim \ Mesilat Yesharim D'var Torah: "And you are to know this day and instill in your heart that HaShem is G-d, in the heaven above and on the earth below, there is no other" (Devarim 4:39). This verse embraces the foundation of all spirituality and pure service of HaShem. Specifically, to know that HaShem is the Master of the universe, and just as importantly, to instill this awareness into your heart, on a daily basis. The more we contemplate on HaShem and ingrain the truth of His existence into our hearts, the more elevated will be our piety and our purity of Divine service.
Moral: Increasing our awareness of the awe of HaShem and instilling it into our hearts is the foundation stone that gives life and meaning to all of our Torah learning, prayers, Mitzvot, and good deeds.
Application: Envision Moshe Rabenu each day of his life contemplating on the existence of HaShem. Imagine Moshe Rabenu singing a song of praise to HaShem. Notice how the awe of HaShem fills Moshe's heart with intensity, holiness, and joy. Transpose this awareness and awe of HaShem to your heart.
