HaShem Loves You Unconditionally \ Trust and Tranquility
D'var Torah: The hallmark of trust in HaShem is peace of mind. Meaning, our trust in HaShem needs to be so strong that we are certain that HaShem will always provide for us and protect us. In light of this, one who trusts in HaShem, yet still worries, has not attained true trust in HaShem. Therefore, we need to strengthen our trust so that our hearts fully rely on HaShem. We must be confident that He will always do the best for us in every situation. We fully believe that HaShem will always fulfill what He has promised to do for us. In addition, we trust that HaShem will help us beyond what He has promised. What's more, we know that even if we are undeserving of His help, He will bestow His generous kindness upon us as a free gift.
Moral: HaShem's unconditional love for us is the most important criteria in making it possible for us to acquire unrelenting trust in HaShem. Without this love, we would always worry that we are unworthy of His salvation. The knowledge of HaShem's unconditional love for us, inspires us to always trust in HaShem, despite our flaws and faults. Application: Envision a mighty oak tree standing in the forest. It's powerful roots hold the tree firmly in place. Strengthen your trust in HaShem so that your trust in HaShem is as secure as an unshakeable oak tree. Know that you can always trust and rely on HaShem's help because He loves you unconditionally. (Based on Duties of the Heart) We're on a search!
