Irrepressible Optimism
When Klal Yisrael were slaves in Egypt, the crushing bondage weakened them, and they fell to the lures of idolatry.
Unfortunately, they sunk to the forty-ninth level of impurity. Had Klal Yisrael remained in Egypt for one more minute, they would have been irredeemable; and would have been slaves in Egypt until this very day.
At the very last minute, HaShem redeemed them from the clutches of evil and favored them with eternal freedom.
Instantaneously, they went from slavery to freedom, from death to life, from darkness to light, from impurity to holiness, and from sadness to joy.
This magnificent reversal demonstrates the great love that HaShem bestowed upon us at the time of our redemption.
Even more, our redemption reveals the amazing potential contained in every moment. Each and every second is a tremendous resource of goodness, a powerhouse of deliverance, miracles, and transformation.
The greatest lesson of the Exodus is the importance of Irrepressible Optimism. The realization of the dramatic and remarkable wonders that HaShem can perform for us in a mere second dispels all notion of despair.
Faith and deliverance is a constant, axiomatic foundation of reality.
Awaken your heart to the countless opportunities embedded in every moment. Place your faith in HaShem, and greet each moment with joy and excitement -- for each moment is a seed that blossoms forth with freedom, life, light, holiness, and redemption.
