A Mitzvah is a precious gift that HaShem sends you for your enjoyment and delight.
Through the Mitzvot we attain spiritual elevation, wisdom, goodness, blessings, and merit Eternal Life in Gan Eden.
The ultimate joy of the human experience is the incomparable bliss of the revelation of the Shechinah that we will receive in The World to Come.
HaShem calculates a person's reward in proportion to the level of happiness that the person awakens in his heart when he fulfils his Mitzvot.
The Arizal HaKodesh revealed that all of the Gates of Esoteric Wisdom and Holiness that he accessed, was attained on the merit of his unbounded joy and happiness in the Mitzvot that he performed!
Indeed, once we understand the inestimable value of Mitzvot, we will rejoice in each Mitzvah with more happiness than if we possessed all the gold, silver, and precious gems in the world.
