The Torah tells us that Shimshon encountered a roaring lion. As described in Shoftim 14:6, "And the Spirit of the Lord came upon him, and he tore the lion apart as one would tear a young goat, though he had nothing in his hand..."
This verse highlights the extraordinary courage that arose from Shimshon’s inner purity. His trust in HaShem and his pure heart stirred him to act beyond his natural abilities, enabling him to confront the lion without fear.
Similarly, the Zohar explains that when Avraham Avinu saw the Shechinah before him, he was so moved by the Divine presence that he placed himself in great danger by pursuing the five kings. The Vilna Gaon further elucidates that both Shimshon and Avraham Avinu were keenly aware of Divine assistance, which inspired them to take bold, decisive action.
We, too, can draw inspiration from this understanding of Divine support. It encourages us to rise above our own limitations and act in ways we might never have thought possible.
Today: Take a moment to connect with the purity of your heart. When you do, you will open yourself to Divine assistance, empowering you to transcend your usual nature and achieve greatness.
