The Dynamics of Honor
"Ben Zoma said: Who is honored? The person who honors others." (Avos 4:1)
If a person is deserving of honor, the honor that he receives does not increase his due status. Yet, when we honor others, we actually bring honor to ourselves!
Lesson: All the honor that a person affords to others ultimately returns to him, because whoever receives honor intuitively responds in kind.
App: Grant a generous supply of honor to others and they will reciprocate, granting you true honor in return.
