Moshe Rabenu's Good Heart
Moshe Rabenu attained the status of the redeemer by showing remarkable sensitivity to others. Firstly, he opened his heart and felt the suffering of his brethren. Afterwards he defended an innocent Jew from being beaten by an Egyptian taskmaster. Next he intervened in a quarrel between two Hebrew slaves. When he fled Egypt, he rescued Yisro's daughters from the oppression of the Midian shepherds. Moreover, he even watered the flock that the daughters were tending. Subsequently, he lovingly cared for a tired and thirsty lamb that ran away from his flock.
Lesson: The essence of a true leader reflects the infinite compassion, sensitivity, and kindness of HaShem -- and initiates the redemption.
App: Awaken goodness in your heart -- and actions -- by loving, caring, and feeling compassion for other people.
