Immersed in Mitzvos
In an interesting sequence, the Torah records the dietary laws regarding animals, fish, and birds. Afterwards, the Torah records the birth of man and the bris milah. In this manner, the dietary laws precede the birth of man, while the bris milah follows after his birth. This order reveals an important secret. HaShem instructs man in the womb with the the laws regarding what he can eat and what he cannot. After accepting these Mitzvos man is born and charged with the bris milah. In this light, man is surrounded by Mitzvos, before and after his birth!
Lesson: Even before birth, and right afterwards, the Torah clearly orients man to his mission in this world. Man's singular purpose in this world is the fulfillment of Mitzvos.
Visualization: Envision a baby in the womb being charged by HaShem to keep the dietary laws. See him accept the fulfillment of Mitzvos before his birth. When he emerges into this world he is charged with bris milah. Attain clarity that your life's mission is the fulfillment of HaShem's Mitzos. (Based on the commentary of Rabenu Bachiyah to the Torah)
