The Flame of Faith Once a man dropped a valuable gold coin into a sack containing thousands of counterfeit ones. He examined a few hundred coins and found them to be fake. Nevertheless, he didn't give up his search because he knew for certain that his coin was in the pile. So too, HaShem has set an exact date for the coming of the Mashiach. Just as the Exodus from Egypt occurred on the predesignated date that HaShem had chosen, so too, Mashiach will surely arrive precisely on the designated day. Lesson: Each day that passes without Mashiach is simply not the correct date. We have every reason to keep the flame of our faith strong because the designated date of our final redemption is sure to come. Lesson: Greet every day with renewed trust and optimism because every new day could be the day that HaShem set to bring Mashiach.
