SF - A Flame That Warms the Heart

A Flame That Warms the Heart

When the Kohen lit the Menorah in the Temple, he was required to ignite the wick until it burned a steady flame, on its own power. The radiant Light of the Menorah symbolizes wisdom. The kindling of the wick represents the correct method of the educational process, transferring wisdom to others.

Lesson: When sharing Torah, it is appropriate for the presenter to conscientiously give over the lesson until the student fully grasps the concept. What's more, the mentor also loving imparts his teachings, kindling his student's heart with the warmth and light of the holy Torah.

App:  Before you present a Torah concept, reflect on your students and awaken love for them. Present your lesson with clarity, patience, and friendliness.

New: If you have a question that relates to life issues, such as relationships, personal development, trust in HaShem, business ethics, etc., you can schedule a ten-minute consultation (free) with Rabbi Zvi Miller, via skype or phone. Send email request to salantorg@gmail.com
