The Maccabees displayed the highest level of bravery in brazenly attacking a far superior army. Their fiery spirit to defend the observance of Torah powered them to victory. The more they actively confronted the forces of evil and oppression, the more HaShem blessed them with miraculous triumph over their oppressors.
Lesson: The more we give our all to serve HaShem, the more He will bless our efforts with success.
