The Angels We Create "Yaacov sent angels before him to Eisev, his brother." (Bereishis 32:4) The angels that Yaacov sent were not created by HaShem! Rather, Yaacov created the angels that he sent, through his mitzvos, as it says, "If a person does one mitzvah he acquires one 'advocate.'" Lesson: HaShem blessed man with the power to create angels for himself through the good deeds that he performs. These angels protect him and advocate for him before HaShem.
