Yoseph -- Master of Emotions
The emotional intensity of Yehudah's plea to spare Benyamin moved Yoseph's heart. At that poignant moment, he could no longer hold himself back" from revealing himself to his brothers. Nevertheless, before he cried out, "I am Yoseph your brother," he mastered his feelings. He first dismissed all the Egyptian advisors, in order to spare his brothers embarrassment in front of them.
Lesson: Powerful emotions are justified. Yet, they do not give us the right to embarrass others.
App: Find the inner strength to keep strong emotions in check and avoid causing hurt to family and friends.
