The Love of Forgiveness Heavenly forgiveness is not rendered by an angel or any other intermediary. Rather, HaKodesh Baruch Hu, Himself, in His infinite mercy, grants forgiveness. With His "purifying waters," He totally and thoroughly cleanses away every trace and effect of the sin. Lesson: HaKodesh Baruch Hu, the Master of the universe, He alone, has the power and compassion to purify the souls of His beloved creations.
