Cool Waters
After Klal Yisrael passed through the Red Sea, they arrived at Marah, a place where the waters were undrinkable. The lack of water caused great distress for the people. Moshe interceded on their behalf and HaShem sweetened the water. Afterwards they journeyed onwards to Elimah, where there were twelve wells and seventy date palms. Once they reached the oasis, they realized that there had been no reason to panic at Mara because HaShem had prepared a water supply in advance.
Lesson: The secret of vibrant trust in HaShem is to be aware that help is "right around the corner." Even when the situation looks bleak, HaShem's help comes as quick as the blink of an eye.
Visualization: Envision that you are walking through the desert and arrive at Elimah. Joyously you see twelve wells and seventy date palms.Feel the relief and joy as you drink the cool water and take comfort in the shade of the date palms. Envision that near each hardship in life, there is a cooling oasis. (Based on the commentary of the Chofetz Chaim to the Torah)
