SF - The Greatest Good

The Greatest Good

"A praise of David: I will praise my G-d, the King, and I will bless Your Name forever and ever." (Tehillim 145) All of the creations are in absolute need of their daily sustenance. This Psalm contains the secrets of Divine blessings and abundance. Whoever recites this beautiful Psalm with thoughtfullnesss and heartfelt sincerity will never lack his sustenance. It is the only Psalm that begins with the words -- "A praise" -- because there is no greater good in this world than the constant flow of HaShem's blessings of abundant sustenance.

Lesson: It is fitting and  pleasant to praise HaShem, Who provides sustenance for all of His creations, with kindness and compassion.

Visualization: Envision the Mannah which materialized each morning in the barren desert. See that there is a sufficient supply for the milliions of members of Klal Yisrael. Imagine yourself gathering the Mannah for your entire family, with very little effort. Reflect on HaShem's kindness and compassion in sending your "daily bread." Be inspired and praise HaShem with a joyful heart!
(Based on the commentary of the Rav Moshe Dovid Valli to Tehillim)
