The Most Preciousness Virtue
When Yaacov blessed Yoseph's sons, he gave the preferential blessing to Ephraim, even though Menashe was the first born. Yaacov honored Ephraim because he rectified his nature from every trace of conceit and conducted himself with the precious trait of humility. On the merit of "minimizing himself" he attained true spiritual greatness.
Lesson: The trait of humility is most precious and beloved to HaShem. When a person overcomes the instincts of the ego, HaShem rewards him with extraordinary blessings and success.
Visualization: Envision Ephraim making an effort each day to counter his ego and acquire true humility. See how his personality is incrementally transformed and his whole being permeated with humility and modesty. Be inspired by Ephraim and make an effort each day to lower your ego and attain the golden trait of humility.
