Where Faith Begins After HaShem lead Klal Yisrael to a miraculous victory over the Cananites, Devorah the Prophetess sang to HaShem. She sang, "My heart is with the lawgivers of Israel, who devoted themselves to the people saying, "Bless HaShem." The Rabbis, experts in the Torah law, traveled throughout Israel and taught the people to "Bless HaShem." They resuscitated the souls of their fellow man by inspiring them to recognize -- and bless -- the goodness of HaShem. The Rabbis' primary mission was to reestablish the pillars of faith amongst the nation.
Lesson: The foundation of Torah observance is belief and trust in HaShem. The first spiritual priority is to consistently revitalize our faith, the very life of our soul.
App: Encourage others by strengthening their faith and trust in HaShem, the G-d of Israel -- our Creator, our merciful Father, our Rock and Redeemer.
