Immediate Spiritual Transformation
Imagine that a person is moved by a Rabbi's speech to do Teshuvah and he makes the commitment to fulfill all the Mitzvos. At that moment of inspiration, he instantaneously goes from darkness to a great light! Indeed, on that same day the spirit of righteousness fills his very soul. Even more, HaShem rewards him as if he actually fulfilled all of the Mitzvos.
Lesson: HaShem considers our will to fulfill the Mitzvos, as if we actually fulfilled them. Therefore, our acceptance of the Mitzvos immediately elevates us and merits us with the reward for the fulfillment the entire Torah.
