SF - The Secret Power of Yisrael

The Secret Power of Klal Yisrael

"HaShem  is pleased with those who revere Him, those who hope for His kindness" (Tehillim 147:11). King David reveals that "the awe of HaShem" is the factor that empowers Klal Yisrael to defeat their enemies. However, there are two conditions that are required for the awe of HaShem to effectively overpower our adversaries. One is that we trust in HaShem's kindness, not in our own merits or strengths. Secondly, the awe of Hashem must be  the awe of Divine Majesty and not the fear of punishment.

Lesson: When a person attains the awe of the Divine Majesty, he is pleasing to HaShem. As a result, the light of HaShem shines upon him and grants Him the strength to triumph over his enemies.

App: Contemplate on attaining the awe the Divine Majesty and hope for HaShem's kindness -- and enhance the strength of Klal Yisrael to defeat our enemies.
